Jaed participated in his first pinewood derby and he had a great time. Thayne helped him make a truck out of his block of wood. Unfortunately, Jaed lost the nails to the wheels and we couldn't seem to find any nails that fit perfectly in the slots so Thayne tried gluing the nails in and it worked for the first couple of races. Jaed even won those races but on the third race a wheel came off. He put the wheel back on but the next race, two wheels popped off. Again, he put the wheels back on but the last race THREE wheels came off and a nail popped out and was never found, so his racing time was over!
(Here's jaed with his awesome truck!!)
(Jaed's putting his truck on the track and is about to win!)
After all the problems with the wheels it was no coincidence that Jaed got the "Most Explosive" car award! All in all, it was a great night and Jaed was thrilled that he won some races and got an award!

What a great looking truck, sounds like Jaed got the right award, wheels and nails everywhere, pretty explosive.
